For two years I ran a movie channel. I made videos, wrote scripts, chased the perfect hook, talked about trending topics — tried to fit into what a "content creator" was supposed to be. Dissatisfaction built up quietly until I realized I was sacrificing my own voice to look like everyone else, and somewhere in that process I'd stopped having fun, or learning, or recognizing myself on screen. That's how Lytharius started.

The name doesn't have a meaning you'll find in a dictionary — it's built from a feeling, the sound of a word that, spoken out loud, evokes freedom, space, a vast blue sky full of clouds. Lytharius is the place I built to play by my own rules again: a cinematic vlog and visual diary — a slow-living channel for people who'd rather sit with one honest ten-minute video than skim a hundred fast ones. If "aesthetic vlog" is the search that found this page, "contemplative vlog" is closer to what actually happens here — a person, a camera, and no plan to be interesting on purpose. I'm not trying to be better than anyone here, just different: intention over the invisible rules of editing and pacing that everyone else follows because they work.

The recurring subject is whatever's left when the noise stops — identity, solitude, nostalgia, the places that used to be full and now aren't.
